NLS sent ths small Irish Chain for me to quilt for her. She is going to use it for a wall hanging over her fireplace an wanted something custom. I quilted some onesided feathers edged with pebbling through the chain and in the blank blocks I did a heart feathered motif. Marked the hearts in the center of the blocks then freehanded the design from there. I used a bronze thread that would compliment the colors on the front and I love the way it looks on the back. When I looked at the pics I saw that I have more clipping of threads t do on the back...Don't look at that part. I did a bead board border in keeping with the formal look.

NLS is a perfectionist when it comes to piecing a quilt. They are all immaculately pieced and a pleasure to quilt.
