I started my Double Irish Chain quilt yesterday and got most of the blocks done today. Just need to put it together and add the partial blocks for the outside. 4 of us got enough done to at least put up some of the blocks for pictures. We had so much fun doing this - probably would have gotten more done if I'd been at home, but what fun is that when you can chat and snack while sewing with others. Mine is the burgundy, red & white flowers and white.

Oh, Darlin' that is beautiful. I ordered an Eleanor Burns book on Irish Chain. Your points look great and it sounds like you had loads of fun!
I was showing my husband your Irish Chain pics, when he stopped me and asked about your Bargello avatar. He said it was phenomenal. I wanted to sock him in the eye because he's never said anything close to that about what I've worked on. I showed him what Bargello patterns I've ordered and explained how I didn't understand the instructions and he just walked away.....I guess he just doesn't "get" it when it comes to quilting expertise. Sometimes I want to kick him in the shins.
