Terri! I heard you got to cuddle a koala bear, so I figured you would know that answer! 8)
Oh yes, they are as soft and cuddly as you think they are. They smell really good too! Just like eucalyptus! :)
Oh, and don't call them bears....was "slapped on the hand" for calling them Koala Bears,,,,they are just Koalas.

Did I mention I got to cuddle and snuggle and love on a Koala?

I went online to see how to spell it ... it is marsupial ...? at least that is what one blog alluded to ... so, that must be correct, but since I will never be using the word again, I don't suppose it really matters, eh?

Well, when you were cuddling and hugging on the koala ... did you happen to ask why you can't call them koala bears? While you were hugging and cuddling the koala .... koala .... they aren't bears? Are they sure????

Yes, it has a pouch, that's why it's a marsupial and not a bear.

Isn't that funny? Or, rather ... in all the years I have known about koalas, I always heard "bear" attached, and I never had a clue that they were in the same family as kangaroos! what a surprise! I thought I knew how EVERYTHING reproduced! I guess I have just been too sheltered! LOL
