I just want to let everyone know that if you want to include a fat quarter along with your postcard, it shouldn't add much weight. I just mailed out 2 fat quarters today and it cost me a whopping 78 cents!!!

Wow mama...that is pretty and fits perfectly with Teacup's center! You must have matched those corners to hers exactly!

Finally, finally catching up on mail, e-mail and this thread! It's so fun to see the tops growing already.

Although we got home Sunday night, we were right back to work Monday, Monday night I had a guild meeting and by Tuesday it seemed like I had never left. Not really, but we are sooo busy - and when we were on vacation, it was so relaxing. Ah well, I did have the chance to go, and we had a wonderful time, so I'll not whine any more.

In the stack of mail was Julie's center, it is so pretty! Great, bright colors, which are even more bold against the black background. Very cool pattern, and beautifully done.

I obviously didn't get the whole postcard thing - I sent mine all in the envelope with my center. I thought they were all supposed to be there so that each person would choose one as they received the center. Sorry about that!

My co-workers are not thrilled with me - I've been back for 4 days and have tomorrow "off." Friday through Sunday I'll be volunteering in the kitchen at a Walk to Emmaus retreat, cooking for about 60 people.

No sewing this weekend, but I've got this lovely center on my design wall so I can mull over the next round to be added. Next Wednesday is a holiday from work; I plan to add the first round to Julie's center then.

    Welcome back P&J!
Luckily Teacup had some spare fabric so I was able to get the dark blue from her. The center really needed to be framed with it. This is so much fun.. so glad I decided to partake..... can't wait to see what Terri does with mine.. hint hint
