Sorry, Teacup, I've been waiting for a Christmas quilt for a long time - this one is for me! If you looked at finished quilts in our home, you wouldn't know I quilt - most of them have been given away. Of course, if you looked at my work area, you'd know!

Kendra, it's lovely. When I was considering making a Christmas quilt, I looked for gold fabrics as a compliment. The fabric you chose has that bit of gold in center of the flowers! The border you added to my center changes the look so much. Thank you for putting the first amazine round on!

Christmas fabric is low at stores here as well. With the recession I don't think stores ordered as much stock. The pickings are getting slim.

That makes it really hard to shop for fabric for these tops...I know I usually am so careful to find the exact right match for the fabrics. Sometimes that takes several trips to any stores I can find...its almost impossible to do it online..almost....

    Well, I've been sleeping...

Work has been crazy - since mid- October (when I went on vacation), we've had very few days when everyone has been in the office. That makes it hard for everyone, so I've been coming home exhausted. We all get along well and do what we can to help each other out, but short-handed is short handed!

Add to that the fact that I'm looking for a new camera. Now that I'm going to need to post pics more, I need something more user friendly. Any suggestions? I want small, and quick shutter speed. Current camera takes too long to take a picture - so I get lots of strange shots w/ nothing in them - what I wanted (pet, kids) have moved by the time picture snaps. And I want it to be small enough to tuck into my purse when traveling; the current one is too big & requires its own bag. Easy, fast and small is what I'm wanting!
