I pulled the green from the leaves in the flowers.

    Hope you like it!

    Thanks!
Cajun Quilter was with me when I bought the fabric for this. We both decided that it needed the green, so we pulled the different colors of green out of the main fabric.

Now, I'm trying to figure out what to do for the other one. My border I WAS going to do has been done, so now I have to think of something else. I'm running out of time! UGH!

Oh, I love the green. I think those shades are very pretty. And it adds a lot of movement. It's fun to see it take a new direction with each round. Thanks, Cajun Quilter, for helping to select the fabric. I'm honored that two people worked on it!

Teri, I was very happy to hear your news about your transition back to the states and to Virginia. Woo-hoo! It will be great to be within reach of those babies when you need a grandma fix, and nice that you won't have to actually live with them for an extended period of time to get it! You can see them more often, then go home!

I'm also running out of time to work on my projects. I'm trying to wrap up my doll quilt exchange and Peace and Joy's border. But every-other weekend we are driving 3 hours to my MIL's house to help her since my father-in-law died last fall. We are sorting to prepare for an auction this spring or summer. I can't sew on those weekends. This weekend was set aside for quiltling but I've been helping to take care of my grandson (1) because his sister (3) got pneumonia. She'll be OK, but both kids were sick for a week and my daughter just needed a break. So I've been playing grandma instead of being at my sewing machine. That's OK, but it creates a crunch when deadlines are here! I'll get it done.

    I"m glad you like it.
The green just makes the green leaves pop!

We all understand about life getting in our way at times....I'm on crunch time with still trying to get Januarys Doll Quilt finished, but I'm glad I have Rhonda who understands and will get a little extra in her package for her wait. :)

Now, to figure out what to do with the center for Group 1......

Gosh I am so behind. Mama--love what you did to Kendra's center. The butterfiles are precious.
Terri, I like the green too.

I finished mine today. I took pix but they are a bit dark. I wanted the border to be girlie and represent hat pins.

    bad pix of the border
