Well, Joe Ann is having trouble with Mr. Le Coq. Her original idea didn't work out either. But at any rate, she is computer challenged, so I post her pix when I get the center from her. And I stayed up all night till 11am working on Patti's. I'm about 2/3 done. I would say I'll finish it tonight, but I have my French Braid class tomorrow, and need to cut out my fabric for that. So, I may not finish until the deadline. We'll see. Really, all I need to do is make sure the center is square   :D and then sew the border(s) on. I love it so far!!

Thanks ladies! This is my first real attempt at fusible appliqué (I did the blanket stitch by hand though, not tried it by machine and didn't want to use JoAnn's centre as a practice piece! I must say I think I like it better than needleturn, because the points are much crisper (well, mine are anyway!) Patti, I just came back from the PO so it's on it's way, don't think it had time to become French so you should be able to comprendre what she tells you! Esq - I've been around but not as much, some life stuff going on here!

I find the blanket stitch is easy by machine, now that I learned from SandPat to put stabilizer under it - big difference in how nicely they stitch out! Very smooth and even.

Just missed you Kathryn - I hope everything is going well!
