    I'm SO glad you like it! The gold stars are paper-pieced. I didn't know that you like the Friendship Star pattern, I just wanted to pick up on all the llittle stars in some of the fabrics in your log-cabin-ish blocks. So I found a website with a bunch of free paper-piecing star patterns - but the smallest one they had was 4 in, so I had to shrink it down to 3 in to fit the first border. Luckily I know my way around Photoshop. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty well, and I'm really, really glad you like it.

    Good luck with your finishing touches. It will all work out!

    Uh hem no, but if they are anything like the Spanish they rattle off at a speed of knots deliberately. LOL

    uh huh! and if you ask them to repeat something because you didn't get it, they say it EVEN faster the second time!
