Well, I'm packing up my sewing room right now, so no sewing is going to be done much before the end of the month. But I did wash my fabric. I've been wrestling with two different ideas for Mel's NY Beauty Center. The flying geese Joe Ann put on are the 3D kind (Ricky Timms) and since I just got a new book on "Quiltigami"/Fabric Folding, I was thinking of a folded 3D block. I made a couple to see how they look, and I'm going with that.

Patti, Joe Ann says your center still hasn't hollered at her, but it's hanging up where she can't miss it! ;)

I LIKE IT... It doesn't defray from the center at all yet ties everything together...

Hmmm....sounds like we have a group that really lets the centers speak. I know Esq's started stuttering the minute I took it out of its package...it misspoke though. Once it got unfolded and hung around for awhile it made up its mind.

Gai...that is too funny!! I love the newer dimensional things and I told Rachael that a part of hers might turn out dimensional as well! I'm working with it...we'll see...these things sometimes take a different turn the further I get on them

Well....it might have to wait for Gai's round, so don't get those hopes toooo high...but this is funny. Last night I was cutting out some of the applique and DH asked me what it was to go on. I told him your center...he asked "which one is she?"...I said, "she sent the See's"...He said sternly..." You HAVE to make that one REALLY pretty!"

oh, that reminds me. I promised Grandma Terri I'd send her some. Oh well, she's not home yet, so I guess I'm not late. Gotta scurry over there today...just so happens I'll be driving by around 10 this am!

I know exactly what I want to do with Gai's centre, just have to do it! I may need some fabric and I'm going to Holland this weekend so I'll check my stash before I go and buy there if necessary. Hey Gai, I may take your centre with me, show it the sights! :-D
