This really will be a special quilt for LOTS of reasons! Looks like you will win the best "story behind the quilt" award for this year! :lol:

    Oh, don't be so silly. It isn't that great a story, but it is true. My kids are pretty excited. No pressure ladies. I can't wait to see what it becomes either. We are all excited to get started. Gwyn

    Gwyn your center is beautiful! And it IS a great story because it's so beautiful too! So very sentimental, romantic and honoring what you love most. Truly wonderful and this quilt will grow into a precious treasure. I can just imagine your grandkids admiring this quilt for years to come and listening countless times to this piece of their family story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    Gwyn tells me that she has received my centre so I think everyone has got a centre to work on.

    No Gwyn - no center yet! I checked the PO yesterday but I will check again today too!! I will let you know as soon as it arrives!
