Now don't that beat all. It took less than a week for that center to get to you. I think someone in the postal center looked at my 1st center and decided they liked it. Either that or Randy held his mouth just right as they threw it in the bag. :? I really did mail the other center and wouldn't have had a second if it hadn't been for Klue's generous gift. It looks prettier than I actually remembered it.

Kendra: I really rushed when cutting it out. If it needs squaring up or trimmed, please feel free. Have fun.

Finally, I am out of the dog house and on track with things. Now my goal is to stay there!  :-) Gwyn

Oh, I forgot a label. Could each person please send along a 2 1/2" square so I can piece together a label. Please sign your square. I love you all. Thanks for your patience. Gwyn

Soooo glad it is there and wow!!!!, it is beautiful!. Kendra...could you please put a note in the package with the center asking everyone for the signature square for Gwyn?? I know it will be hard for everyone to remember that for the whole IRR time frame.

Maybe you could research some Japanese "language signs" and embroider them in the next border?

There was a bit of snow on the mountain just south of where we were. His yard and field were at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. Since Willard is only 5 miles down the road, I can see these same mountains every day when I look out of my windows.

We have 10 children. They are represented by 10 of the hearts on the tree. I will put the names on the hearts when I get it back. The rest of the hearts are for my in-law children. I have 3 son-in-laws and 1 daughter-in-law. Two of my son-in-laws are brothers, they married 2 of my daughters. I have 4 grandchildren. 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. I have ordered sterling silver charm hearts with their names on them. I cut enough hearts to add to my center as the children get married and can get more charms to add as more grandkids arrive.

The pink material for the Sunbonnet Sue is a scrap of the dress I wore that day. The fabric for the pants and shirt on Overall Sam came from the shirt and pants Randy wore.

I hope it makes more sense now. Thank you for your nice comments. Gwyn
This center disappeared? How heartbreaking after you put your heart and soul into that. I sure hope it turns up somewhere, sometime!

I like all the centers I have seen here but especially that one for all the great memories it shows.

How sad is that for it to be "lost". We will pray that it will still show up.

That's beautiful Gwyn. I really hope the first one shows up though, it's the appliqué sunbonnets with pieces of your wedding outfits, isn't it? That's too special to lose - it's probably taking the scenic route! :D
