    She has done a couple of things, she just finished her doll quilt for the kid swap, she is very artistic, she crafts in other ways, she loves to scrapbook and wants to get into making jewelry. When I am to lazy to pick out my clothes I call her in and she does a great job.

    If you come you need to bring a few pieces for my shelf, I see some bare spots

    CB, I love your choice of border! The colors in it are just perfect for the center. Job well done.

    Here's the first row. I tried out 3 different fabrics that went with the other colors but the patterns were competing with the center so I finally settled on the small scale purple. I had two sides sewn on and went to do the two ends and wouldn't you know it? I measured an inch too small and I didn't have enough material to do two more strips without piecing! So... along came the corner blocks. :-D

    I added the closeup without flash to show the color more true than what the full shot is.

    I think you did a good job of choosing the border color. It contrasts really nicely. Looks really good!

    Thank you so much! My daughter Sarah is going to love it too!! She is the younger of the two and loves purple! She tells me she loves every color but I know that (for now) purple is the it color!!
