Thanks for letting the know BRT...They always look better in person..and they look pretty darn good on the monitor, so that is saying something!

I'd love to do a stash IRR, but my stash isn't all that great...and I love to go shopping anyway. It wouldn't be too hard to do the 1st couple of rounds from stash, but I'd really have trouble doing the larger rounds.

Yeah, Patti, that is my reaction too. Besides, like you said, who doesn't want to shop for fabric! Actually the "only use something from your stash" sounds like something a nagging spouse would say to make someone feel guilty!

Didn't mean to make you feel guilty for shopping. :P Just thought it would be fun and interesting for a RR. It would be a totally scrappy quilt, that's for sure.

Well, if I had the stash today that I used to have, it would be fun (for me). But I now have a very small stash, and since I tend to obsess over fabric matching anyhow, and since I have NEVER done a scrappy quilt, I guess I just can't visualize it! LOL I guess some of us are scrappy and some of us are matchy-matchy! :P

It would have to be scrappy....it might be really fun too. I think you would have to make the center scrappy to get it started. I think (for me) if the center was all (I'll steal Gai's technical term) matchy...I'd have a really hard time trying to add a border all scrappy...but that may be just me.

You know this year we added USA only groups to the IRR...maybe we could do a "Stash only" group for next years...its a thought...

Unfortunately, I have NO stash. Im such a new quilter, I just go buy what I need for the project...which means I only have itty bitty scraps. That would result in a VERY scrappy quilt indeed!
