OK guys...here is what happened to Tulip's center. It is soo lovely Bev, I hope you like my addition. I struggled with the math and never could make anything "really" work...DH and & decided that it would be good to give you areas to add some great quilting to bring out the center colors without overpowering that lovely applique that Donna did! I sure hope you like it!

And April...I don't know what happened to my reply earlier about your new center...I said.... :shock: :shock: :shock: lovely!!!! And for you to please tell me that you didn't just "whip that up" in about an hour. If you did....welll...I'm gonna feel like a real turtle in my quilting!

Thank you and no I did not whip it up in an hour...went through stash of previously made items :-) I am no-where near that talented lol It takes me an hour just to piece a half of a half of a block lol
Thank you all for the compliments I think I am going to go with the orange and brown center. A whole different colorway I know but I am still hoping the horses gallop in and can be finished
