    Can anyone help me???
I've had Bevs center for a while, and its staying completely silent! I have no ideas what to do with it. Theres a show this weekend where I can buy the fabric, but the fabric to do what is the question.
The photo of it currently are way back on page 20.

    Anyone any thoughts?

I do not know what your favorite type of piecing is.
Bev's fabric of choice is Civil War Reproduction ... I think that a narrow border needs to happen next. A pattern in the inside and a small, narrow border on the outside of your border strip ... similar to what was done in the light/brown, applique section.
I don't know if you do applique, but there are some nice blocks you can piece and then intersperse those throughout a single piece of fabric, such as what was done with the blue row, but with pieced blocks every once in awhile?
Those square in a square blocks previous to your addition are certainly attractive, aren't they? <wave>
I am not the best piecer, but when I am planning a border, I try to make it a little bit about what I do with the theme of the center, so there is a little bit of me, and a little bit of the theme in the border I add.
does any of that help? <wave>

Gee...sorry to have given you such a silent center Sazu... I was thinking when I worked on it that it needs a narrow border (like omak suggested), then if you would like bo piece...you could do corner baskets to echo the basket in the center panel and then some simple flower blocks interspersed along the sides....or if you like applique...you could pick up on the circular flowers/bird theme...I'm kinda like omak...I like to pick up something from the center and pull it outwards. Well...these are just some thoughts...you might want to take it with you...someone vending might have just the "right" idea for you!

Hi April, here is a picture of your NEW CENTER . I put a simple border with a 9 patch as cornor stones as it already had enough going for this round. Hope that you like the addition.

I want to put corner blocks of the Mariner's Star on Sazu's quilt. I can't find a paper piece pattern that closely matches what she's already done. Can anyone help??
