Sazu, I understand completly. I will make sure to prewash your fabric. I don't prewash because I like the puckery results. The rules might have said that, but some of us didn't follow the rules

My centers were not pre-washed either, and I did understand that everything else had to be pre-washed.
I think if it is within our power to deliver unwashed for our fearless leader, go for it.
I am like her - - I prewash nothing ... you might want to remind each person as they get your center, Donna?
although <g> you seem up for whatever happens next, eh? LOL

Yes, the directions are to prewash, but I didn't. Guess I missed that point. I will prewash for the borders unless you specify that you don't want me to.

I would prefer that you don't prewash for my borders, since I didn't prewash my center, but if you do I can live with it.

My fabrics were prewashed (only because I went on a binge moving from one room to another so I decided to wash and press and organize as I went ;-) ) But I usually try to leave it up to whomever I am working on something for. I usually always wash my reds and dark blues because they seem to be the ones that bleed the most.

    okey, dokey, kids!
I now have Miss Bev's center, and I will post a picture later this evening!
Lucky woman, my Sister in law loved the civil war reproduction fabrics, so I will be able to compliment the theme ...
It is a substantial appliqued center, and I'll make you wait for the picture, but leave you with the thought
The two blue doves at the top of the piece ...
well, by golly Miss Bev, you have ALMOST inspired me to take up applique. What a neat center!

Bless each and every one of you mailers who think to write the GROUP NUMBER on the envelope ...
it is such a little thing, and I don't know if I did it for any of mine, but since I have had two very nice people do that for me, I will from now on.
There is just something thorough about making sure that somewhere on the envelope and somewhere in the package the group number gets mentioned, and it makes life easier - - or, that could just be my imagination! ... I know for sure it will cut down on the number of times that I take a center in and out of the package.

I received Sarah's center today and it's picture does not do it justice. I think I know exactly what I am going to add. I am so happy I am able to get to work on this one!! Actually I am happy I get to work on all of them!
