I love your quilts. Very colorful and I bet the kids love them. One of the women in our guild went to Goodwill and bought a wooden TV tray, covered it with lots of batting and then with some fabric and uses it as a small ironing board. Says it works great and it's portable too. Yours is very nice too.

The squares are all 6.5 inches and... The girls one with the HST was Much easier than it looks. I cheated! I am posting a tutorial on my blog that should be up tomorrow.

Oh I like how you did the HST's. Really adds dimension and interest to the usual I Spy. The second one is nice also with the sashing. You're a clever lady and the ironboard is more proof of that.

Did you just use particle board / plywood for the ironing board? I need to make a big one

I posted my cheat for the HST on my blog.

    http://sherbertcafe.blogspot.com/201...spy-quilt.html

AND... It is just plywood. I was actually his idea to make one cause he heard my mom saying she needed one. We bought one 48 inch long piece of plywood and had them cut it at the hardware store into 12 inch squares. We were able to make 3 for under 15 bucks... We would have made 4, but.. we only needed 3 and wanted to play with christmas presents! I took pics to post a tutorial on how to make it also, but.. it was pretty easy.

I am going to make my Grandkids a "I Spy" Quilt. I guess I need to join a swap. I also have a Black Iron like her's and it does get hot. It will melt your poly- fabric. It you don't watch.
    Good Job on your quilts.
