    my husband made me one using a three step stepladder and building an ironing board on to it. came in very handy when the grandkids were little. I used it for a long time until the nuts and bolts wore their holes too big and it wouldn't stay up. not fun to get something half ironed and the board go down.

    It's wonderful!! If you are not going to use it for something functional, I can see it as an ironing board with
    a couple of 'homey' quilts folded over it: or as a chair
    with some potted plants on the steps and seat. Thanks for
    sharing.

    I saw one of these at a crafts fair and wanted it. My DH said that he could make me one. that was 32 years ago. Guess what? That's right. NOT YET!
