    Love your friendship star quilt I have one made years ago not nearly as pretty as I did not know how to put it together then makes me want to do another one

    well you picked the right place to show off a beautiful FRIENDSHIP Quilt. Love the color combination and the corner blocks are just right with the colors.

    Purple: Your quilt is just lovely. Great job. I haven't done alot of quilting myself but I've been doing more. I can offer a couple of tips that helped me...I have arthritis so the quilting part kinda bothered by hands until I got some gripper quilting gloves that help hold the fabric you are quilting. Big help. I also wouldn't even try to quilt a top again without a walking foot. I bought the walking foot for my Memory Craft8000 machine for $20 at the machine shop and it's one of the best investments I ever made. I've tied lots of quilts and like Ruth said, some quilts just yell "tie me!" Quilting or tying is personal preference and either is acceptable and beautiful.
