    here is a couple pics of the quilt i ended up making for my sister and brother in law for christmas. this was my first time using batiks as well as using my new janome machine. this quilt has about 50 different fabrics and is around 1000 pieces. whew! i thought it was going to be an ugly quilt but it turned out to be my "ugly duckling". :-)

    That happens so often. We think we hate it as we work on it. But when it's done we love it. Well done it's very pretty.
