I really don't know. My Aunt said wedding ring, but it looks more like a drunkards path variation to me. It is 81 years old tho and in excellent condition!

I have it on a quilt rack at the end of my hallway. The best part of it all is I have picture of my grandmother standing in front of the quilt after she finished it. I can't bring myself to doing anything to restore it as I feel it would take away from it.
