    Love your color/pattern selections. Heck, I don't have a brain injury; and I couldn't do that. Can't tell you how many stupid mistakes I've made.

    there are no "stupid mistakes" they are all "learning lessons :)

    Hi Dreamer,

    I think many quilters make this mistake.....

    When you sew on sashings or borders...you should always measure them and cut them all the same ..and pin them to make them fit...start from the middle and work your way out.

    Then sew.

    When you just line them up you will get mismatched ends...and it creates excess for your LAQ. Common mistake..no worries... at this point just even up your ends by cutting them to the shortest length. You may have to have help with this. HMMMM.

    yup, that's what I'm thinking...I need help.
    I still have to attach the top and bottom sashings to this mess
    of unmatched strips. I'm so trying to do the top all by self.

    oh it is looking beautiful - it reminds me of the cherry trees blooming in the Spring in Washington DC

    I think so to...I love the cherry blossom fabric.
    should have got that for the backing but
    thought it might be a bit to much...
    now wish

    Great start. I love the colors you have choosen. Can't wait to see more as your work is done. Would love to see each step you do. You are so brave to keep trying new things.

    WOW!!! It's beautiful! You are to be complimented for your courage, perseverance, and talent. You've done a wonderful job. Just even off those strips on the bottom and add the top and bottom. You're sooo close. How awesome it will look! Love that sunshine, too.:D
