Even more beautiful than when you started. You are doing great. Just trim up the stuff that doesn't match before you put your borders on.

Your fabrics and colors are wonderful. Sorry that this has been stressful for you. Relax and enjoy your bliss.

If you are concerned about cutting yourself, you might consider getting those gloves that they wear on the Fons & Potter tv show, to protect their hands.

Can't wait to see your finished quilt!

Love your fabrics but I love your determination even more. You can do it. One step at a time. Do not cut yourself. Don't try to rush it. You have plenty of time. I am so proud of you.

When you sew on sashings or borders...you should always measure them and cut them all the same ..and pin them to make them fit...start from the middle and work your way out.

    Then sew.

When you just line them up you will get mismatched ends...and it creates excess for your LAQ. Common mistake..no worries... at this point just even up your ends by cutting them to the shortest length. You may have to have help with this. HMMMM.
    yup, that's what I'm thinking...I need help.
I still have to attach the top and bottom sashings to this mess
of unmatched strips. I'm so trying to do the top all by self.
Just cut the bottom edge straight. Use your ruler and rotary cutter. Pick the spot where the shortest piece is and line it up. You are doing great!

Keep climbing that mountain. My prayers or with you. The quilt is gorgeous. You have done a beautiful job. My daughter is climbing her dreadful mountain after being diagnosed with Reflex Symathic Dystrophy. RSD. She was an R.N. but somedays can barely get out of bed. Take care.
