I also had a brain injury from an automobile accident. Yes, I do remember the anxiety and frustration that came when I would try to do more than one step in a task. My brain eventually made new pathways and I am somewhat back to the way I was before the accident.

I just opened this thread. There is a ruler made by Fisker that has a rotary blade attached to it so there is little chance of hurting yourself. You might want to check into this.
Can't wait to see you progress ... I applaud you for taxing your brain instead of giving in to your injury and just saying "I can't".
