    To me it wasn't any harder. The lady that brought my longarm said that she wouldn't use that poly batting. But, I haven't had a problem with it. I use my machine to baste on both sides and the top and that way it is stitched in place before I start quilting. I love the fluffy look of the higher loft batting.
