I worked til about 9:30 last night, but when I got home I forced myself to do one set of 4-patches. Tonight I got home much earlier and was able to get the rest of them finished. I was so excited I had to put a block together and I love it more all the time. Time count so far is about 8 hours.

    Thanks for looking.

    Darren

I haven't been able to post for a while, because I haven't really made much progress. We had just gotten over the hump and had our backlog nearly under control, when suddenly everyone started having babies! Three at my work, three at my wife's work, two friends from our old church, and one from our new church (5 years in June). Where are all these babies coming from?! OK, wait, don't answer that!

Anyway, I have been able to get 13 blocks put together. We auditioned several layouts and liked the barn raising, but this layout is the winner. I think it will have a 4" black border and be bound with the stripe hanging over the design wall. That stripe actually goes with one of the baby quilts, but I think I'm going to have to go back to the shop and buy more for this one. I have no idea what will go on the back. If I use a dark back do I need black batting?

Wish me luck! The first baby quilt is on the frame now.

This is probably going to be binding
