Yes, I am very happy that I joined the swap. I am still in the process of finishing one for her. I hope she likes it.

I received a great little quilt from "beckyw". She chose the birds because the robin is the state bird for Wisconsin. The pot holder block (much to pretty to be used as such and will live in my sewing room) is called Mary's basket, reminding beckyw of Laura Wilders' "Little House on the Priarie". She wrote to say that Laura's parent's house is about 10 miles from her house. Beckyw grew up in Minnesota, so she also sent me a Thimbleberries pattern from Lynette Jensen, also from Minn.

Thank you so much for sharing yourself and these momentos from your home states. I love it all.

Here is the doll quilt I got from Loretta in Wisconsin. It is hard to see but she appliqued the state shape on the quilt--and where the teepee is is where she lives. She also enclosed an embellishment book---Thank you so much Loretta--it is adorable.

I really enjoy seeing what others did for their doll quilts--sure a variety of imaginations working here!!
