I've just put it up on the wall in my sewing room the right way up. I figure if I'm in there drinking wine, and I want to SEE the wine bottle version, I'll just stand on my head! :D

On Today. July the 25th, 2009, at 1:00 pm, my quilt arrived from Japan!!!

Just holding the package was exciting. DH retrieved it from the mailbox and teased me horrible before allowing me to have it!! This was not a package to be opened fast, but to be studied and looked at with anticipation. I had never seen a customs tag before!

So opening the package and expecting great things, I was not Disappointed!!!

The quilt is just beautiful and the stitches are so small and even. I love it!!! It is a log cabin block, but done in unusual fabric, unlike any I have ever had.
The Picture does not do the material justice, the wine colored fabric is so soft to the touch, you just have to stroke it!
I the package was some caramels , MY favorite!!, and 3 pieces of georgous material~!!! the middle piece is beautiful when opened and I already have plans to turn it into a wall hanging for my sewing room and the others, well let's just say I will be thinking long and hard how best to show them off!! Such rich colors!!
OK, we just have to do this again!!!!!!!

It's breathtaking Ninnie! I can almost feel your excitement. Yumi, your girls have made us really happy! Any feedback from them on the quilts we sent?
