Yes there is just something about them, the original pattern was done in these type of fabrics and that is what made me buy the pattern.

I thought I recognized some of the fabric you are using as some that Terri used on your IRR center. Now I'm going to have to go check out that web site to see what deal Judy has going on

Elle, I have tried for 2 days now to see your beautiful quilt, and the picture won't open for me. I guess I am running too slow right now. So, I decided to down load it so I could see it, and it said 40 minutes

Maybe tomorrow my connection will be fast enough!!
I so want to see it!
I will be back!

Really beautiful Elle! Every since we started the DJ swap I've grown used to PP and find I like it! Can't wait to see your finished quilt. Tell Izy 'hi' if you see her!

I just went back and found it. I agree with Sandpat. I don't think you could pick an easy pattern if you tried! LOL I know it will be beautiful (it already is) Take some pics of the different layouts you've tried. It's always interesting to see the various patterns that form!

And HAND sewed Paper piecing! I am in AWE!

Did you check out her FREEBIE patterns there are three on there I have started to download the one called Moonglow, heaven only knows whenI will ever get round to it but thats a different matter, I just have to have it right!

I checked out how long it takes me to sew one by hand and its 3 .30hours. To machine them takes nearly 2 hrs, so there isnīt a lot in it.

Will take some more pics next week, have another 2 fans made and I have made them in a lighter look, think it works, anyway you can all tell me.
