Has anyone ever seen a pattern like this? I got the pictures from a site I can't remember, there wasn't a pattern, just pictures from a 2005 magazine from a quilt show in Canberra, Australia. My DD is an art teacher & each Christmas teaches her kids how to fold paper cranes & decorate a Christmas tree in their room at school. She also went to Japan a few years ago on an art teacher exchange trip. I would love to make her a quilt like this. I may have to attempt to make a pattern, but I don't know if I am up to it! Maybe some of our Australian quilters have seen the magazine. Sorry this is so long.

Try googling "Origami Quilts". I know I've seen a pattern (paper pieced) but can't remember where. You could also google paper pieced quilts. If I find it I'll let you know-I do love the pattern.
