    Yes, I did use batting and no, it's not flannel on the back. Saw that red bandana fabric and knew it was perfect for the jean rag quilt.

    I love the red and white look in the fringe. I know the red comes from the backing, but is the white just the threads in the denim, or do you have a white layer inside?
