This is my latest project. Just gave it to the recipient today. A family friends mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and I made this comfort quilt in her favorite colors.

It is Daisy Chain from the book Jelly Roll Quilts by Pam & Nicky Lintott. I made the throw size which is 47 x 68in. It was actually a pretty easy pattern considering how many pieces it appears to have. Of course it is strip pieced. This one is my second big sized quilt. My other quilts have been doll sized or wall hangining sized.

Hope you enjoy the pretty spring colors!

Beautiful fabric, pattern and quilting - what do you call that quilting pattern? It is something I would like to try out on a quilt I have made.

Gorgeous! I'm sure your friend's mom will love it and get lots and lots of comfort from it. Nothing says "I'm thinking of you" like a handmade quilt!
