    In answer to the question, did I QAYG, yes I did. After assembling the top, I then cut it into squares, sandwiched the batting and backing and quilted it using my walking foot and quilter's guide sewing in a cross hatch pattern beginning first going diagonally and then parallel lines. After the blocks were quilted, I squared them and added the sashings and border.
