The jelly roll had 2 colorway colors (pink & blue) I separated them and was going to make one in the pink and one in the blue. When I got to the point when I had a long narrow looking quilt I decided to divide it in half to make baby sized quilts. So I found center and took out that row of stitching. Not the best method...but none of this went as planned anyway

I have 4" borders added on them now and them measure approx. 34x40

    Good Morning Lady T,

I had to sign-in just to tell you that I love your idea! Those quilts are adorable! And,yes, sometimes the jelly roll quilts are missing something....I think you have found a good solution.

Thank you all for the kind words. And I want to say to those of you that have made the jelly roll quilts, I have NOT seen one I didn't like! In fact, that's what made me want to make one so much.
I think perhaps it was my fabric choice that made it look blah to me ? I don't know.
But you ladies all made great choices with yours!

So now I am working on the blue colorway now and will post pictures when complete.
What started out as .....well, b-o-r-i-n-g.... has really turned into fun!
