    Could maybe do a cross-hatch in the entire middle of the quilt. And I like the vines idea for the borders.

    Someone mentioned a book. Was this pattern in a book?
    Don't know if I could convince myself to attempt that many pieces but I would sure like to take a peek and consider it.

    I printed the pattern off the internet, Eleanor Burns on her show also did this quilt, but with a white background. It was beautiful and so crisp looking.
