    Beautiful!! Love the Shenandoah Valley. We lived in Woodstock for about three months. People around there told me that God did some of his best work right there and tend to agree, it is beautiful!

    For those of your that wanted the information on the pattern it is as follows, from the McCall's Quilting magazine - May/June 2010, the pattern is called "Kinabalu" and I doubled all the required fabrics. I sewed with a scant 1/4 inch, and I didn't make the template but rather used a triangle ruler (much sturdier when cutting), the pattern also doesn't tell you how many widths of fabric to cut (I didn't like that part) and I numbered my fabrics to help with assembly. I saved the cut off triangles and sewed them together and will use them in a scrappy quilt one day. About half of the fabrics were Jinny Beyers, I used the border print to pick out all the colours.
    Thanks for all the compliments and I will be shipping this via FEDEX next week after the quilt show so I won't see Gail's face but I know she will be over the moon with it
