    But it is not a quilt for you; it is someone else's and if they did not request hand quilting you need to get over it. This is why God made us all different; it makes this world interesting. G

    Fabulous. I'm doing one in orange and rust-red. WIP, we'll see how long it takes to get there. I will be machine-quilting...otherwise I'd NEVER get done!

    you did a marvelous job. Don't fret about hand vs. machine quilting. you finished a friend's heirloom and that makes it PERFECT. at least, imho

    To say you are disappointed in this quilt, due to a lack of hand stiching, is amazing to me. It is absolutely gorgeous and I envy you that your work is so beautiful. Please, be happy with such a wonderful finished project.
