Thanks so much for all the kudos - spent the afternoon learning what all she can do but was having trouble with the tension (occasionally loopy on the bottom). Hubby decided I had fooled with it long enough and that it was time for the "expert" to take over. Hey -------- OK! He tried everything that I tried and wasn't having any success either - then we both looked at each other and said "bobbin"! Popped it out and the adjusting screw just about fell out on it's own. A couple of half-turns with the screwdriver and OH MY - does she ever sew a nice stitch! I am just soooooooooo tickled.
No - I didn't play the lottery. I only played once in my life, telling myself that if I didn't even win a free ticket that I would never play again. I didn't and I haven't ............. lol.
Just take this little bit of advice - stop in the Goody store every chance you have. I have amassed so much fabric by doing that, not to mention other items - I would have to say that it is probably my most favorite place to shop because I always come out smiling!!!
