Since i have 2 weeks off for winter break, I wanted to finally tackle a quilt for me. I have this extra green fabric from a project that didn't get used, and this is the project i decided to tackle. I have sorely underestimated the time to finish this....I have finished 5 blocks. Each block has about 75 pieces in it. This is a variation of a log cabin quilt and the finished logs are 1 inch wide.
It will be handquilted and i have no idea how - but it's pretty, and definitely the most involved pattern i've ever made - I also didn't realize how hard it is to sew a precisely straight line! LOL!!
I am getting the hang of that!

Your quilt will be beautiful. I love this pattern and think it would be fun to do BUT, I don't need any more inspiration, I haven't done the ones I've already planned. Anybody else have that problem?
