Hello Quilters! I am back to sewing! After recovering from my fall, I was able to finish my 49th quilt, I had maybe halfway done when I broke my wrist. Then I made this 50th one. It’s called Stars and Stripes Forever in a book by Judy Martin. Yes, I used a pattern for this one-lol
When I told one of my daughters that I would love to make this pattern, she ordered me the book from Amazon. I told her I wanted to make it for my 50th QOV, to mark a milestone, with something spectacular. I thought this pattern fit the bill. This is a wonderful design by a very talented woman. I think I had seen a picture on Pinterest that if I remember brought me here, to quilting board. If you made this speak up because you were instrumental in inspiring me to make this.
I will bring it to our meeting Thursday for Lynn to quilt. She has a programmable long arm and she quilts almost all my QOV. I hope you have a nice day. We have been getting so much rain, it makes my wrist just ache, so I hope we get sunshine soon as I have quilts to make!-lol

Sorry to hear you broke your wrist. I am happy you are back to your quilting.
Congrats on your 50th Quilt for Veterans. I can only imagine how the person who receives this beauty will feel.
Did it take a long time to make? I am in awe of how productive you are with making so many quilts. I wish you many sunny days so you wrist will behave for you.
