Awesome!! You are making one fantastic quilt. I avoided paperpiecing for so many years, then finally decided I was going to learn, now I too love it. Have been working on a Judy pattern for a couple of years now, some day it will be done. Her patterns are so beautiful.

Just beautiful! I don't think I could ever accomplish anything like that. You did an excellent job. I'm about to sign up for the Carol Doak class on Craftsy also, but I still don't think I'd try anything that complicated.

I bought the papers kit for this at a quilt show last year, but after reading the instructions, put it on the FAR back burner... LOL!
Yours looks great, I will come to you for advice when (or if) I get mine started.

Absolutely gorgeous. Paper piecing is not my piece of cake but I do love what comes from it. One could never get that look with just piecing. I do plan on doing some paper piecing even though I don't love doing it just because there are beautiful patterns. You did a super job.

I will be happy to help you, but you better do it pretty quickly. These days, nothing new stays in my brain for too long. It's interesting how much of a journey this quilt has been for me. I don't think I am afraid of trying anything now. I have promised myself that I would bring my WIP's down by 50% before I start a new project. That makes 15 I have to finish. About 10 are ready for quilting and a couple just need binding. Several others can be completed in a day. I hate to get bored with something, because I find it very hard to go back to it. I am always surprised at how much I like the finished projects.

After the 15 are finished, I can look forward to my next JN project which is probably going to be Glacier Star. I bought the kit several years ago, long before I had any experience PP. I read the directions the first time then and thought.....What in the world have I gotten myself in to? Now I know. I'm not saying it will be easy, but at least I have an inkling of how to do it.
