A jump on the gun-Don-isewman
I sat here for the last 2-3 day's wondering/waiting to post maybe pictures of another quilt I started. The name of this pattern is called "Breakfast at Tiffany's. Why it's called that I dont have any ideal. This pattern is out of a book called--Knockout Blocks and Sampler Quilts by Judy Martin. I've got it in my head to do 3-4 block' They caught my eye's. I learnt a new way of makeing the flying geese. Instead of a rectangle and sewing a sq on each end. The new ideal is useing a 5"(?) sq, and (?)-2 1/2" sq's. Or what ever big size sq you want to use--4 1/2-5-5 1/4', ETC. 1 more thing, this quilt, I've started, is sewed on my 1924 singer machine. And it works fantastic. I'm going to use the flying geese technique for a border or sashing's. Not sure yet. Here is the sewing machine, I'm useing now. Here is just 4 block's I've done already.A picture of just 1 block. Each block is going to have different color triangles and sq's. Take care everyone. Don-isewman
