    Post June Minis (22 pics)!!

I had the urge to do some minis this month; some were gifts and others went to charity as preemie quilts. The first is a Drunkard's Path mini done in reverse applique, my own pattern. Then I tried to perfect the pattern in #2 but it didn't turn out as well. I figured out you don't need to do it in reverse, you can do it from the front, lol. This is my frontside reverse applique technique where you cut first and then sew. The 1st one was done by sewing first and then cutting. I learned that I need more work on curves.

Next is the Vintage Spools quilt. Again, my own pattern. With the leftovers, I made a smaller mini of the spools. Both of these minis went to charity.

    Now for some pics:

Next are the Vintage Spools minis! I couldn't find any pattern I liked so I just wanted to try something I thought would be easier but they did take some time.lol. I think the small one came out at 4x6!!!

I also made 3 different sized Whirligig minis. The largest one I will be working on another border. The med. size is finished and the smallest one went to charity. The smallest one I changed my pattern so that none of them had to match up with the others which made for a very quick mini and they were my leftover blocks from the other Whirligigs.

I keep getting an ied error and cut off so let me try posting the final pics of the baby bibs!! They were so fun to make! Can't wait to make some more! The purple glue is showing in the 1st bib's neckline area, but it finally washed all out the 2nd time! Whew!! Think I'll use pins the next time.

Just winging it, I thought they didn't turn out too bad but practice will make perfect! The babies will love them!

Hope you enjoy my pics and are inspired to try some of the patterns or all of them!
