    Default In the Jungle......

This is a quilt I made for a friend's surprise birthday party in a couple weeks. She turns 50 and loves animal/jungle prints.

Please help me come up with a name for it????

    Other details-
Basic D9P with slight modification - due to two screw ups on my part.
First screw up - miscalculation on size of blocks. I started with 8 inch squares (because the frugal side of me said there wouldn't be any wastage cutting WOF then) - that made HUGE blocks, almost 2 feet square. Of course, the reality of this didn't dawn on me until I had cut enough for 25 blocks!
Second screw up - while sewing up the blocks, inadvertently mixed up the order of the two outside rows, so 5 of the 25 were different.
    Solution -
Make Trudy's quilt with 9 blocks using the 5 screw ups alternating with 4 "regular" - I really like how this ended up looking. It measures about 66 inches square.
    The remaining 16 blocks will be used to make a "manly" quilt for my son's landlord/friend in either a 3 x 5 or 4 x 4 pattern.

Just the binding and a label to do - so pleased with how this came together.

    Thanks for looking!

I would call it "THE colors of Wine". I don't drink it but your story sort of fits it. Haha

I think it looks planned so don't sweat the screw-ups. I have had a lot of experience with them! Great looking quilt.

I think Bungle in the Jungle is a perfect name. Too funny and yet descriptive. It is a lovely quilt and your friend will cherish it.
