    I also agree here..if you planed mitered borders you would only sew once..it is so beautiful you need to finish yourself and take complete credit!!

    I understand the name of this - OMIGOSH! It is wonderful. I agree with IrishRose - that's a good idea. Also, don't think about how much work it will be, or how long it will take. When it's done it will be a joy for many years, so take your time and try to enjoy the process.

    IMHO, I would make three solid borders - primary colors: red first, then yellow and finally yellow. I think you should make them the size that pleases you!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE this quilt. You did an amazing job!!! It's definitely on my top 10 to-do list. I really like how you arranged the colors ... am sure mine will be more scrappy. Have you decided on the border? Keep us posted. WONDERFUL

    Have you considered sewing borders to one another and then adding the joined borders to the quilt. That way you would only handle the weight of the quilt the one time.
