Default Just back from the LAQ

Just got these back and I'm really pleased with them! The nine-patch is one I pieced over thirty years ago--I guess that makes it vintage, no? My LAQ did an all over pantograph of a sleeping cat. The second quilt is for my husband who loves to garden. Now that fall is here, and the garden is on its last legs, he will have a fresh vegetable patch all winter.

Both are lovely. The veggies one is perfect for a gardener.

The one for your husband looks good enough to eat.

I like both quilts. I have bought veggie and fruit fabrics to make a jar quilt. Of course, I haven't even started yet!

How very fun to see your vintage quilt finished. I bet you are so pleased. Now that veggies quilt? How neat is that! I love the farmer's market line of fabrics.

I am working on a very old finish myself. It was from twenty some odd years ago when I used to hand piece blocks.

Thanks, everyone! RedGarnet222--yes, it feels good to have it finished. Good luck to you with your instant-vintage quilt as well!
