    Default Just Chillin"

Hi All: This is a lap quilt I pieced during the May Sunday Virtual Quilt day. Probably 95% of the fabric is from Connecting Threads. Usually use subdued traditional colors and patterns, so this is my tribute to "modern quilting". Loved getting away from my comfort zone! Pics don't show true colors but used bright turquoises and lime greens. Believe the super simple pattern was from Pieced Tree using fat 1/4s. This will be sent to San Antonio next month for my cousin Jim's birthday. I know it doesn't get chilly there often, but there are times when it may feel good to him when the AC gets a bit overpowering. Simple linear handquilting using blue painter's tape as guidelines. Thanks for looking.

It's a very pretty quilt. Your handquilting really shows up good.
