    Just finished this top. The pattern is called Afternoon Delight. I added extra border and used the Kona Bay fabric. Some fabric shops say this is peonies, which is what it looked like to me. But I have also seen the fabric called carnations. No matter I loved the large floral.

    That is beautiful and I would definitely say those are Peones. They look just like my plant when it blooms in the summer with those gorgeous giant blooms. Beautiful quilt. Joanie

    Wow! What a bright cheery quilt.

    Yes, those are peonies just like mine here in the yard. One of my favorite plants in the yard although short blooming.

    Thanks, it was a fun quick quilt to make.

    I am going to hand quilt with a dark pink thread. I will accent the petals and leaves in the flowers. I have not decided about the border and blocks. It will come to me as I go.
