    I finished this quilt that I will be giving to my friend for her new "expected" grandbaby. I think I'll have to make another 1 for the little boy that is already here though. The monkeys are from one of Debbie Mum's books, but I didn't use her quilt pattern. This just seemed more interesting and I wanted to add the balloons.

    That is so cute. I love the way the monkeys overlap over into the churn dash blocks. Nicely done. I'm with you...I love the piecing but hate the basting and quilting (probably because I'm not too good at that part :) ). I think your friend will love the quilt!

    Very cool, just remember the neatest part about basting is that the quilting is next and then finishing it off. I think it’s a lot like taking pills the doctor gives me, I grumble longer than it takes to swallow. Can't wait to see the finished quilt, but I guess I'll just have to huh? Be sure to post it! :wink: [size=18][/size
