I just got done with the last quilt I will be working on this year. This is a donation quilt for my guild. We have a donation luncheon 2x a year, June and December and my goal is to make at least 1 quilt for each donation. I will turn this over to a good friend tonight and she will turn it in at the guild meeting on Tuesday.
I did loop de loop FMQ around most of the block but on the 4 patch and the large square I did a FMQ double flower. My quilting is not very good, I was dealing with some pain issues.
This is a turning twenty pattern with 12 fat quarters.
I had really hoped to get more of my UFO's done but.......
Friday I am having surgery on my right shoulder, I will be unable to sew for at least 2 mos (last time it was 4 mos!!)

Oh Gayle, so sorry to hear that you are having surgery. Know that it will turn out for the best, but oh how long to not be able to sew  Love your donation quilt and will keep you in my prayers. Let us know how you are doing. :D

Thank you for your well wishes everyone. I am a little nervous about it. I had my left shoulder done about 18 mos ago and I ended up with an infection. Was off work 3 1/2 mos and on Antibiotics for 6 mos.
No fun!!!!!
